Why I Don’t Manifest Anything Anymore

Manifesting to me is effort, it’s pushing at something and expecting my reality to bend accordingly. The word itself evokes a feeling of ‘try’ – But this is just me. I have come to realise that we are all different and what suits one does not necessarily suit another.

I know it’s a law, I know we manifest all the time. I am not denying manifestation, but I am making a decision not to actively attempt to shift in reality. I’ll do it anyway. I don’t need to make an effort. What I do need to do though, is to make sure my inner talk is in line with the things I’d like to experience, or at least, not in line with the undesirable. My vibration is all important.

I am by nature, a little obsessive. When I get into something, it’s big time. Sometimes this is not productive. I am an all or nothing sort, and I once I am all in, it’s very hard for me to pull myself out. When I say I don’t manifest, I suppose it’s not strictly true. As I write this I am thinking, well, you do know what you want. I do make sure I have clarity on what I want in life. It’s not as if I am going to stop wanting things, but what I truly desire above anything else, is to be okay in myself as I am and to be able to live the life in front of me and enjoy it, even if it isn’t exactly as I’d like it to be.

The Law of Assumption Over Attraction?

The law of assumption and the law of attraction are just terms used to describe the way life works. When I hear people say ‘I don’t follow the law of attraction, I only follow the law of assumption’ I wonder why they think there are two separate laws at work here. There is just one and it works based on our feelings, beliefs and assumptions and our own intentional or unintentional INTENT. If for instance, we desire something, but we feel it is out of reach, then it will be out of reach. We must look at those conflicting assumptions and work on those over manifesting that desire. Otherwise we’ll get stuck on a merry-go-round with no stop button.

The Only Thing to Work on Is Self

It’s all about us. When we want something in life and we can’t seem to get close to it, we need to look at why that might be, we don’t need to bang our heads against a brick wall trying over and over the manifest it. What’s the root cause of this lack of movement? It might be an old belief or it might be a circumstance you feel is ‘in the way’.

As a coach, I specialise in mind-set and manifesting with clear intent and an unshakable belief that we CAN have those things we want without spouting thousands of affirmations, visualising over and over, scripting and generally driving ourselves crazy trying to live a life we are actually pushing further away. I am not saying those things can’t be useful. I am not saying you shouldn’t do them. What I am asking you is, ‘How do you feel when you do them?’ – Ultimately it comes down to your feeling state. I’m all for affirming statements towards improving self. I use them myself, but affirmations for something or someone when you feel as if you are swimming upstream is at best a waste of time, and at worst bad for your mental health. Another reason I am not an active manifestor: When you suffer with anxiety, manifesting can exacerbate that. It isn’t necessary. No technique is the magic one. Feel good, enjoy life’s little sprinkles, make the most of the things you DO have and say ‘All is well’ every day to boost your overall vibration. Giving momentum to the good stuff will inevitably mean you get more of it.
